This Finger print reader or biometrics reader can be used as a time recorder, attendance recorder and as an, access control system. This recorder can be used with turnstiles. It verifies the finger with the ID cards or PIN No given to a particular person.
Combination of finger and ID card / PIN improves the identification of that person and avoids proxy punching. When used in PIN mode, ID card is not required for the user. It can be used with Mifare cards, Proximity cards or Bar code cards.
Using this recorder with Mifare cards will support any number of users, as the fingerprint template is stored on this card. This Access Control System / Attendance Recorder can prove to be ‘card- less’ time management system.
