 FEATURES

Wireless LAN utilizes spread-spectrum technology based on radio waves
The wireless nature of such networks allows users to access network resources from nearly any convenient location within their primary networking environment
With the emergence of public wireless networks, users can access the internet even outside their normal work environment.
Wireless mesh networking is ‘mesh networking’ implemented over a wirelessLAN

SPECIFICATIONS

The Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV) routing algorithm is an algorithm for routing data across wireless mesh network.
It is capable of both unicast and multicast routing.
AODV is a distance-vector protocol.
The advantage of AODV is that it creates no extra traffic for communication along existing links.
When a link fails, a routing error is passed back to a transmitting node, and the process repeats.
